Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to sales made on the Yobe Light website, accessible at www.yobe-light.com.

They define the rights and obligations of Yobe Light and its customers in connection with the online sale of products, accessories and lighting solutions offered on the website.

1. Seller identity

The Yobe Light website is published by:

Hereinafter referred to as “Yobe Light” or “the Seller”.

2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all orders placed on the website www.yobe-light.com.

They apply to sales concluded with consumer customers, as well as with professional customers when the order is placed directly on the website.

For specific professional orders, bulk orders, custom projects, personalization, trade shows, events or special requests, specific terms may be set out in a quotation, purchase order or separate commercial agreement.

By confirming an order, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale without reservation.

3. Products

Yobe Light sells luminous bases, chargers, accessories and lighting solutions designed to illuminate transparent containers or decorative objects.

The essential characteristics of the products are presented on each product page: description, dimensions, indicative battery life, charging method, compatible accessories, price and any specific conditions.

Photographs, videos and visuals displayed on the website are provided for illustrative purposes only. Yobe Light makes every effort to present the products as accurately as possible, but slight differences may exist depending on the screen used, the lighting environment or the containers used with the products.

4. Prices

Prices displayed on the website are indicated in euros, including all taxes, unless otherwise stated.

Shipping costs are shown separately before final confirmation of the order.

Yobe Light reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Products are invoiced based on the price displayed at the time the order is confirmed.

For professional customers, specific prices may be offered as part of a quotation or commercial agreement.

5. Order

The customer selects the products they wish to order, adds them to their cart, and then confirms the order after reviewing its details.

Before confirmation, the customer may check the contents of the cart, correct any errors, enter delivery details and select the available delivery method.

Order confirmation implies an obligation to pay.

Yobe Light reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of an existing dispute with the customer, suspected fraud, obvious error in the price or product information, or inability to deliver the order.

6. Payment

Payment is made online using the payment methods offered at the time of ordering.

The order is considered final once payment has been confirmed.

For professional orders based on a quotation, the payment terms are those stated on the quotation, invoice or purchase order. Unless otherwise stated, professional orders become firm once the quotation has been approved.

7. Product availability

Products are offered subject to stock availability.

In the event of unavailability after order confirmation, Yobe Light will inform the customer as soon as possible. The customer may then choose between a refund of the order, replacement with an equivalent product, or deferred delivery if possible.

8. Delivery

Products are delivered to the address provided by the customer when placing the order.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery information provided. In the event of an error or incomplete address resulting in the parcel being returned, reshipping costs may be charged to the customer.

Preparation and delivery times are specified in the Shipping Policy available on the website. These times are provided for information purposes only and may vary depending on the destination, carrier, time of year or constraints beyond Yobe Light’s control.

In the event of an unusual delay, the customer may contact Yobe Light at the following address:
marketing@yobe-light.com

9. Receipt of the order

The customer is invited to check the condition of the parcel and products at the time of delivery.

In the event of a damaged, opened, incomplete parcel or any visible issue, the customer must make a reservation with the carrier and contact Yobe Light within 48 hours at the following address:
marketing@yobe-light.com

Where possible, the customer should attach photographs of the parcel and the products concerned.

This procedure does not limit the legal rights of consumer customers under statutory warranties.

10. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with the regulations applicable to distance selling, consumer customers have a legal period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide any reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer may use:

the withdrawal button or link made available on the website;
the standard withdrawal form provided below;
or any clear statement expressing their wish to withdraw, sent to the following address: marketing@yobe-light.com

From 19 June 2026, the relevant e-commerce websites must allow consumers to submit their withdrawal request online through a dedicated feature, with clear confirmation of the request.

Products must be returned in their original condition, complete, undamaged, with their accessories and, where possible, in their original packaging.

Return costs are borne by the customer, except in the case of an error by Yobe Light or a confirmed defective product.

Yobe Light will refund the sums due within the legal time limits, after receipt of the returned products or after proof of shipment of the return.

11. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to products made according to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalized. This exception may apply to products personalized with a logo, marking, special manufacturing, custom-made accessories or specific adaptations requested by the customer.

For personalized professional orders, cancellation or modification terms are specified in the applicable quotation or commercial agreement.

14. Legal warranties

Products sold by Yobe Light benefit from the applicable legal warranties, including the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects.

For consumers, the legal warranty of conformity allows the customer to request that a product presenting a defect existing at the time of delivery be brought into conformity. It applies for 2 years from delivery of the goods.

In the event of a defect, the customer must contact Yobe Light at the following address:

The customer should describe the issue encountered and, where possible, provide photographs or videos showing the defect.

15. Use of products

The customer undertakes to use the products in accordance with their intended purpose and the instructions provided by Yobe Light.

Yobe Light luminous bases are designed to illuminate transparent containers or compatible objects. The lighting effect may vary depending on the color, opacity, thickness, shape or contents of the container used.

Yobe Light cannot be held responsible for a different lighting result depending on the objects or containers used by the customer.

16. Professional orders

Professional orders may be subject to specific conditions: volume pricing, minimum quantities, personalization, production times, event delivery, invoicing, deposit or payment upon order.

Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, professional orders become firm after written approval of the quotation or purchase order.

Products personalized, marked or specifically manufactured for a professional customer cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded, except with the written agreement of Yobe Light or in the case of a proven defect.

The goods remain the property of Yobe Light until full payment of the price.

17. Liability

Yobe Light cannot be held liable for indirect damages related to the use of the products, including loss of business, commercial loss, reputational damage or loss of turnover.

Yobe Light’s liability shall not be engaged in the event of misuse of the product, improper use, modification of the product, failure to follow instructions or any event beyond its control.

18. Force majeure

Yobe Light cannot be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations in the event of force majeure or any event beyond its control, including strikes, transport interruptions, shortages, natural disasters, logistics incidents, technical failures, administrative decisions or any other event making the performance of the order impossible or delayed.

Any reproduction, use, modification or distribution without the prior written authorization of Yobe Light is prohibited.

20. Personal data

Personal data collected when placing an order is necessary for order processing, delivery, invoicing and customer relationship management.

The customer may consult the Privacy Policy available on the website to learn more about how their personal data is collected, processed and stored.
